Comedy with a cause comes to Shoreditch Balls this month

Mark O'Donnell

Not just another stand-up night, Hot Girl Comic Incorporated is reviving live entertainment in London while supporting women and the wider community. This month, a range of top-quality talent heads to Shoreditch Balls on Thu 18 Sept for some more comedy with a cause.

Founded by Manoella “Bella” Narain, the event’s mission is to empower women to own their voices, trust their intuition, and embrace their unique confidence by providing them with a platform to be heard and seen.

With every show, Hot Girl Comic Incorporated delivers bold energy and fearless humour to audiences, while giving back to charities. The aim is to bring smiles, amplify voices, and shine a spotlight on extraordinary talent - all while redefining what it means to make a difference in entertainment.

Every night donates a percentage of profits to charity, and 100% of raffle proceeds go directly to charity. With over £1,000 worth of raffle prizes (from a luxury resort stay to a vibrator to a cheeky mug), it’s laughter with impact. From their last two shows alone, they’ve already raised around £720 for good causes.

Their current charity partner is the Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation, making each laugh count toward something bigger.

This month’s confident, powerhouse all-female lineup includes:

  • Bella Narain
  • Lucy Hazit
  • Katerina Robinson
  • Michelle Shaughnessy

Highlights of the Night:

  • A confident and unapologetic all-female comedy line-up breaking barriers in the UK comedy scene
  • Reviving live comedy while supporting women and the community
  • A raffle worth over £1,000, with all proceeds going to charity
  • Charitable contributions from both profits and raffle proceeds, with £720 already raised for past causes
