As the nights start drawing in, Crawley’s The Hawth has just announced their winter line-up of shows, and it’s packed full of something for everyone.
Music is always a key part of any season at The Hawth, and there is sure to be something to suit all tastes this winter. There’s Walk Like A Man paying tribute to the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The ELO Show features a band of amazing musicians, complemented by a string section playing hit after hit, Punk Off celebrates fifty years of Punk and New Wave and The Magic of the Beatles will delight fans of the Fab Five. For those looking for an evening of classical music, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Brass Ensemble is the ideal treat in the Studio.
It’s comedians galore throughout the season, with Rhod Gilbert, Matt Richardson and Emmanuel Sonubi all but sold out. Book now for Nick Mohammed in Mr Swallow: Show Pony, Judi Love’s Work In Progress, Tom Houghton’s Deep and Geoff Norcott’s Basic Bloke 2 before they do the same. Those who missed out on Jimmy Carr’s Laughs Funny and Jason Manford’s A Manford’s All Seasons earlier in 2025 will be thrilled to hear both are returning for another performance (or two).
For those looking for something more dramatic, look no further than West End stage phenomenon, 2:22 A Ghost Story, starring Kevin Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing, Chicago) and Strictly winner, Stacey Dooley. This edge-of-your-seat supernatural thriller is a must-see this November. Plus, there’s more for Theatre lovers, with Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in the Studio and A Christmas Carol: A Radio Play Live On Stage starring Colin Baker (Doctor Who) and Peter Purves (Blue Peter, The Office), plus a specially recorded appearance by Tom Baker (Doctor Who).
If A Christmas Carol has you feeling festive, there are plenty more Christmas treats to be had. Of course, there is the legendary Hawth pantomime, which this year is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, starring Ore Oduba (Strictly Come Dancing) and Quang Luong, Gladiators’ Viper, alongside Crawley’s favourite dame, Michael J Batchelor. There’s also Rhythm of the Dance Christmas Special, John Barrowman’s Camp As Christmas, Fairytale for Christmas and James Partridge’s Big Christmas Assembly 2025!
Families don’t have to wait until Christmas to join in with the fun though, there is plenty to look forward to before then with The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show set entertain little ones, Cirque: The Greatest Show Reimagined bringing Britain’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer contestant, Max Fox to The Hawth stage and Let’s All Dance Ballet Company presenting three shows to the Studio - Hansel & Gretel, A Chirstmas Wish and The Nutcracker, all specially created for little ones, including those with special needs, and their families.
