Chichester International Film Festival returns this August, launching with the highly anticipated Open Air Screenings in Priory Park. Running from Fri 8 – Sat 10 Aug, filmgoers can enjoy a weekend of iconic screenings in a picturesque outdoor setting. From timeless classics to enjoyable family entertainment, there is something to suit all audiences.

In a Festival first, the public was invited to vote for the weekend’s film finale. Audiences of V2 Radio and Chichester Cinema chose between Bob Marley: One Love and Walk the Line, with the results proving to be incredibly close. Bob Marley: One Love narrowly won the tie with 53 percent of the votes. It was so tight however, that the decision was made to screen both films, giving audiences the chance to enjoy both musical masterpieces on the big screen.

Festival Director Walter Francisco said: “From music legends to iconic love stories, this magical weekend of open-air cinema has something for everyone - families, music lovers, and film fans alike. Whether you're reminiscing over old favourites or discovering acclaimed films for the first time, there’s no better way to enjoy the big screen. It’s the perfect start to our 2025 Chichester International Film Festival.”
